Recycled knowledge
Storefront concept
Each year, Forsberg’s students are commissioned to highlight one of Rönnell’s Antique Store’s display windows. The assignment is to build a theme around an area in the store and develop a concept on which the execution will be based on. In the end, everything from concept and execution is presented to a well-reputed jury from various parts of the industry.
We chose to go from the cartography area and found a link between the world map constantly changing in the suites of climate impact. In our shop window we show a huge iceberg that melts down above books that show the history of nature.
As Rönnell’s Antiquarian sells almost exclusively recycled books, the theme became simple, Rönnels, recycled knowledge, since 1929.
We won the best model and best perfomance, but unfortunately the statment itself was to bold for the brand so we could not complete the project.
